Colorful Landscapes

On a bright and inspiring afternoon, Upcycle Art CIC hosted “Colorful Landscapes”, a paper art workshop at Anchor Project. The session brought together community members of different ages and backgrounds to explore how simple sheets of paper could be transformed into vivid, layered artworks representing landscapes of memory, imagination, and hope.

Led by our creative facilitator, the workshop encouraged participants to play with color, texture, and form, while reflecting on the meaning of place and belonging. The atmosphere was lively yet reflective, as individuals shared stories of their favorite landscapes — from childhood homes to dream destinations — and translated those feelings into expressive paper collages.

The aim of the workshop was not just to teach a craft, but to create a joyful and inclusive space where art became a medium of connection. Participants discovered new skills, laughed, shared stories, and left with both their own handmade landscapes and a deeper sense of community.

The success of Colorful Landscapes showed how something as simple as paper can open doors to imagination, self-expression, and togetherness — reminding us all that creativity thrives when shared.
